I was very excited from the first moment

Ben Şeyma, 02-09 Temmuz tarihleri arasında Kuzey Makedonya'nın Struga Şehrinde Erasmus+Gençlik değişimi kapsamında düzenlenen “Advocacy for Human Rights Share to Change” adlı projeye katılma şansı yakalayan beş gönüllüden biriyim.

Hello Everyone;

I am Şeyma, I am one of the five volunteers who had the chance to participate in the project called "Advocacy for Human Rights Share to Change", which was held within the scope of Erasmus+Youth exchange in Struga City, North Macedonia between 02-09 July. It was a great chance for me to be selected as the main participant from the reserve participants in the project. This project was my first project and although I was very excited, I carried out my operations correctly, thanks to the necessary guidance of the Association Management, although I had very little time left. From the first moment I heard that I had been selected for the project, I was very excited and had uneasy thoughts. Because; It would be my first experience abroad and I had reservations about whether I would be able to communicate with other people or whether I would have problems due to my insufficient foreign language. I realized on the first day of the project that these were unfounded thoughts. Because; They made us feel that language, race and opinion are not important, but why they are there is important. The hotel staff where the project took place, the people who organized it and young volunteer friends helped me with their helpful attitudes and made me feel that I needed to live in the moment, ignoring the insufficient language gap. Every activity carried out within the scope of the project was both very entertaining and educational. I learned about social media and social human rights from different perspectives by brainstorming the ideas and opinions of people from other countries participating in the project. Despite the cultural differences, it was a great feeling to be together with people from different countries for a single purpose, and I believe that it gave me experiences that I cannot gain anywhere else from different perspectives. Thanks to the project, I had the chance to travel to many places, explore many places and learn new information. I am very happy that I had the chance to include more than 30 Diamond-hearted people with the same feelings in my life at the same time. In conclusion; The project brought me a lot of awareness. I would like to thank the project managers who contributed and the founders of the Yount Season association and its members who gave me the opportunity to experience such a wonderful opportunity.
